Located two hours north of Manhattan, Hudson was a bustling major river port in the 19th century. The city of Hudson eventually became the third official port of entry to the United States. Hudson prospered for a century until the economy and the city began to decline and continued to do so throughout most of the 20th century. In the late 1980’s a resurgence occurred and interest in Hudson as a destination for fine antiques began to escalate. Today Hudson is known for food, art, culture, shopping, hiking, and, of course, antiques. Below you will find some of our favorite places in downtown Hudson and beyond….
